The Engine Room: a Masterclass in the Physics of Consciousness
A foundational orientation to the formal apparatus of the Integrated Light-Consciousness framework. Within this engine room, consciousness is not treated as an emergent epiphenomenon of matter, but as the primary substrate from which physical reality is projected through Luminous Resonance. Every subsequent figure derives from the operators introduced here.

The Great Reversal: Flipping the Substrate
The materialist hierarchy is inverted. Matter ceases to be the ground of being and is reframed as a localized condensation of the conscious field — the Implicate Order phase-projecting into the Explicate through the human Biological Transducer. The transduction operator T̂ formalizes the act by which the implicate state collapses into manifest form.

Amplitude carries information density; the phase angle θ encodes coherence — the degree of alignment with the master frequency of Source. Phase-locking of θ defines the local intensity of conscious participation in any region of spacetime.

The governing wave equation for the Ψ field, sourced by the consciousness density ρ_c. The Universal Exchange Rate: Why c²?
The squared speed of light is the conversion constant between information and mass-energy. Within ILC, c² is read as the universal exchange rate at which coherent signal collapses into materialized form — the resonant ceiling of the Explicate Order. It sets the price, in units of geometry, of every act of manifestation.

The constant η ≈ 8.7 × 10⁻²⁸ kg·bit⁻¹ quantifies the mass-equivalent of a single bit of integrated information. Once-mystical claims that thought has weight are anchored here in measurable physical units, fixing the conversion factor between the informational and material registers of the conscious field.

The local consciousness density ρ_c is defined as Tononi's integrated information Φ filtered through a biological delta function δ_bio. The human form is reframed as a tuned antenna — a Biological Transducer whose calibration determines its bandwidth into the unified field. Awareness is what the instrument receives, not what it generates.

Qualia decompose into a superposition of harmonic modes Q. Each subjective state is a chord of phase-locked frequencies on the conscious medium — the felt texture of experience as the spectral signature of resonance with Source. The phenomenal world is, formally, a Fourier reconstruction.

The four governing constants and operators — η, λ_M, C_econ, ∇²Ψ — together specify the calibration program of the human instrument. Telos itself is reframed as the ongoing tuning of the Biological Transducer toward Zero-Impedance resonance with Source: a teleology rendered as engineering.
